BUSINESS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES:

Handicaps – There have been no changes made to handicaps in the last 6 weeks, previously Basin had a couple changes and are now OK.

Sue Davis advised that the payment of $77.00 to GDay is actually bi-annual and is not due until next year.

TREASURERS REPORT:

Sue Davis given approval to pay GDay Aust invoice of $488.40

BUSINESS ARISING FROM TREASURERS REPORT:

Graham Kirk (STGB) raised the issue regarding players who have not paid their entry fee for the Players Memorial Trophy. All players are again reminded that it will now be a requirement where all monies will be required to be paid before they can be accepted for the draw (NOTE: No money No entry to draw).

RECORDERS REPORT

In Dave Hazell's absence Mal Davis advised that the Grand Final between Sussex 2 and BBC1 will be played on Wed 9/10 at Exservo's. Other finals to be played over the next couple of weeks.

HANDICAPPERS REPORT

Mal Davis advised that handicaps are regularly being reviewed with no changes being made at this point in the competition and will be reviewed at the beginning of next year season.

GENERAL BUSINES Graham Kirk (STGB) voiced concerns regarding the need to revise the handicapping system for the 2020 season, Michelle Mulligan (STGB) mentioned that there were some players that won't play next year if it's going to be run the same way as this year. This was taken on board and advised that this would be discussed at the first committee meeting in 2020.

All delegates are to advise the number of members attending the Presentation Night on the 30th November, 2019 from their respective club, these will need to be submitted at the next committee meeting to enable numbers to be finalised for the night.

Peter Clark (STGB) raised the issue of the possibility of running a Summer Competition – Peter has been asked to put together a format of how this will run.

Sue Davis (BBC) would like to issue the bank accounts details to all Treasurers of all the clubs to enable any money to be direct deposited into the bank in the future.
